Victim Identified In Fatal Stabbing At Linden TGI Fridays

The victim in a fatal stabbing at a Linden restaurant has been identified as 35-year-old Erik Kuns of Keyport. The incident occurred on November 9 at TGI Fridays, located at 400 South Park Avenue.

According to authorities, Linden police responded to a report of a fight around 10 p.m. When officers arrived, they found Kuns unresponsive on the ground with an apparent stab wound. Emergency personnel provided medical aid at the scene before transporting him to University Hospital in Newark. Unfortunately, Kuns was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

The investigation into the stabbing is ongoing, led by the Union County Homicide Task Force and the Linden Police Detective Bureau. Authorities have not released details about the motive or circumstances leading to the altercation.
