It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Fred Bond, who tragically died in a car accident this past Saturday. Fred was a beloved coach, educator, and community member, and his loss is deeply felt by all who knew him.

Fred is survived by his wife Sharon, his son Doug, daughters Shara and Charity, and his grandchildren. He was the Director of Instruction at Stonebridge Golf Club, where he dedicated himself to teaching and mentoring aspiring golfers. Fred’s passion for the game and his genuine kindness left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

A native of Russell, Kansas, Fred studied Botany at Fort Hays State University and attended Russell High School. He later made his home in Fort Mill, South Carolina, where he became a vital part of the local community.

A memorial service is being planned on the driving range at Stonebridge Golf Club, and details will be announced once finalized. Fred’s warmth, knowledge, and positive spirit will be profoundly missed by all. His legacy as a coach and friend will remain in our hearts forever.
