A woman in her 40s has tragically died following a medical emergency in Kirkby earlier today. The incident occurred around 10:55 a.m. on Tuesday, November 11, at a residence on Highsted Road. North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) responded swiftly to the call, providing urgent medical assistance to the pregnant woman at her home.

Despite efforts to save her, the woman passed away at the scene. Emergency officers attended to support NWAS and helped with the transportation of her family members to the hospital. Authorities have confirmed that the woman’s death is being treated as non-suspicious, and her next of kin has been notified.

An investigation is ongoing, with authorities working to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident. At this stage, no criminal offences have been identified, and no arrests have been made. A report will be forwarded to the Coroner’s Office as part of the formal process.
