St. Thérèse Academy Louisiana Family Mourns The Loss Of William Patrick Ferguson
The St. Thérèse Academy family is deeply saddened to share the passing of William Patrick Ferguson, a cherished member of the Class of 2025. Will’s bright spirit, kindness, humor, and compassion touched everyone who knew him. His heart, resilient and fiery like a Phoenix, inspired those around him and left a lasting imprint on our community. He was a shining example of faith and love, embodying the values we hold dear.
Will’s presence will be missed dearly, but his memory will continue to inspire us all. We invite everyone to join us in prayer for Will, his family, his classmates, and all who loved him. Services will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Holy Name of Jesus Church on Loyola University’s campus. Visitation begins at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass at noon, with a private graveside burial afterward.
In lieu of flowers, Will’s mother has established a scholarship in his honor to support students at St. Thérèse Academy. The scholarship aims to help students grow “in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,” as 2 Peter 3:18 reminds us. Will’s legacy of love and faith will continue to inspire generations to come.
